应德国政府邀请，国务院副总理马凯将于3月15日至20日赴德国出席汉诺威消费电子、信息及通信博览会和中国合作伙伴国活动并主持首次中德高级别财金对话。

At the invitation of the German government, Vice Premier Ma Kai of the State Council will pay a visit to Germany from March 15 to 20. During the visit, he will attend the CeBIT 2015 to be held in Hannover, participate in the activities held by China as the Partner Country, and chair the first China-Germany high-level fiscal and financial dialogue.

问：据报道，上周末缅甸战机误将炸弹投入中国云南境内。中方能否证实？是否向缅方提出交涉？

Q: Can you confirm that over the weekend Myanmar’s airforce jet accidentally dropped bombs in China’s Yunnan province? Has China lodged a protest with Myanmar about this?

答：据了解，3月8日，缅甸政府军与民地武发生武装冲突时，有流弹落入中方一侧，造成一处民房受损，幸无人员伤亡。中方已向缅方表达严重关切，要求缅方尽快查明情况，并采取有效措施，杜绝类似事件再次发生。

A: It is to our knowledge that amid conflicts between Myanmar’s government forces and local ethnic militias on March 8, stray bombs hit the Chinese side and damaged a civilian residence. Luckily, no one was injured or killed. The Chinese side has expressed grave concerns to the Myanmar side, asking them to get to the bottom of this incident as soon as possible and take effective measures to ensure that such incident will never happen again.

缅北果敢地区冲突已持续一月有余，影响中缅边境地区稳定和正常秩序。中方再次敦促有关各方保持克制，尽快平息事态，恢复缅北地区的和平稳定。

Conflicts in the Kokang region in northern Myanmar have been raging on for more than a month, disturbing the stability and normal order of China-Myanmar border areas. China once again urges relevant parties to exercise restraint, calm things down on the ground at an early date, and restore peace and stability in northern Myanmar.

问：据报道，3月6日，南苏丹冲突双方领导人未能签署最终和平协议，南苏丹和平进程再度陷入僵局。东非政府间发展组织（伊加特）主席海尔马里亚姆发表声明，对和谈未能取得进展表示失望。中方对此有何评论？

Q: Leaders of the conflicting parties in South Sudan failed to sign a final peace agreement on March 6. The peace process came once again to an impasse. Chairperson of Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Hailemariam Dessalegn issued a statement, expressing his regret that the talks did not produce breakthrough. What is China’s comment?

答：当前，南苏丹和平进程进入最后攻坚阶段。中方真诚希望南冲突双方以国家和人民根本利益为重，作出正确政治决断，早日达成和解，不要功亏一篑，再次错失宝贵的和平机遇。国际社会应继续坚定支持伊加特斡旋努力。中方愿继续同伊加特等斡旋方保持密切沟通合作，共同推动南苏丹问题早日得到妥善解决。

A: At present, the peace process in South Sudan has reached the final and most critical stage. China sincerely hopes that the conflicting parties in South Sudan can place the interests of the state and the people first, make the right political decision, and reach reconciliation at an early date. All the progress that has been built up in the past shall not be wasted for the lack of a final push, and this valuable opportunity for peace shall not be missed once again. The international community should continue to stand firmly behind IGAD’s mediation efforts. China will continue to remain in close communication and cooperation with IGAD and other mediating parties to jointly push for an early and proper settlement of the South Sudan issue.

Q: In the last days, there has been increasing tension between the United States and Venezuela. Venezuela is accusing Washington of mounting a coup. Yesterday, US President Obama declared Venezuela as a national threat to the US. As a good friend of Venezuela, how does China see this increasing tension between the United States and Venezuela?

答：中方希望委内瑞拉和美国在平等和相互尊重的基础上发展关系，这符合两国和两国人民的共同利益，也有利于拉美地区的和平与稳定。

A: China hopes that Venezuela and the US can develop bilateral ties on the basis of equality and mutual respect, which not only meets the common interests of the two countries and peoples, but also contributes to peace and stability in Latin America.
