杀毒软件进入’倒贴’时代
They’ve already stopped charging for an anti-virus service, but now it seems that it’s far from enough. Desperate Chinese security firms are taking drastic measures to lure users, even if it means losing money. Kingsoft announced Wednesday that users would be insured for up to RMB8,000 for online shopping losses caused by phishing sites (钓鱼网站), Sohu IT reported. Qihoo 360, Kingsoft’s biggest competitor, followed suit and introduced its own e-commerce safeguard system which is said to reassure its users with an advanced compensation package worth up to RMB36,000 should they fall victim to e-commerce sites infected by a Trojan horse virus or phishing.
据搜狐IT消息，11日，金山网络推出网购敢赔险，金山用户在网购时遭遇钓鱼木马导致财产损失最高获8000元赔付，此举意味着杀毒软件在经历了收费到免费的转变后，又进入了”倒贴”时代。金山”劲敌”奇虎360随即做出反应，宣布”网购先赔”服务，承诺360安全卫士用户如因网购木马及钓鱼网站造成财产损失，最高可获得3.6万元的先行赔付。

Online video rules tightened
广电:网络视频先审后播
Chinese Internet and broadcasting authorities have ordered intensified efforts to regulate online video content, including Internet dramas and microblog movies, after demanding cutbacks in TV entertainment and banning all TV stations airing commercials during TV dramas last year, Qianjiang Evening News reported. According to a circular jointly issued by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television and the State Internet Information Office, online content providers were asked to closely examine their videos before making them available online for public viewing. The providers will be held responsible for the videos posted on their websites.
据《钱江晚报》报道，广电总局继去年对电视台发出”限娱令”、”限广令”后，如今又将”紧箍咒”瞄准视频网站。广电总局和国家互联网信息办日前联合下发《关于进一步加强网络剧、微电影等网络视听节目管理的通知》，规定互联网视听节目服务单位按照”谁办网谁负责”的原则，对网络剧、微电影等节目一律先审后播。

'TW independence'to be cut?

Taiwan leader Ma Ying-jeou supported the suggestion an official made Wednesday to delete contents about Taiwan’s Japanization and “independence” in the island’s high school history textbooks, people.com.cn reported. Ma says he considers the content of textbooks on his desk due to be published soon to be ridiculous and seriously violating the “law” and has ordered relevant authorities to handle the issue.
据人民网报道，11日台湾有官员建议应该删除当地高中历史教科书中皇民化、”台独”化等不宜的内容，获马英九认同。马英九表示，他办公桌上现正放着即将出版的高中历史教科书，他看了也觉得很荒谬，内容严重违反”宪法”。目前，他已责成有关部门尽快处理这个问题。

The per-capita disposable income of urban residents in 2011 reached RMB21,810, up 14.1% year on year, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, chinanews.com.cn reported Thursday. Shanghai, Beijing and Zhejiang take the top 3 positions on the list of the per-capita disposable income. The figure from Shanghai stood at RMB36,230, more than twice the figure of RMB14,989 from Gansu at the bottom of the list. The disposable income of Hainan takes the largest growth rate at 17.9%.
据中新网12日报道，统计局公布数据显示，2011年中国城镇居民人均可支配收入21810元，比上年增长14.1%。其中，上海、北京、浙江占据前3名，甘肃垫底。上海城镇居民人均可支配收入达36230元，是甘肃14989元可支配收入的2倍多。从增幅来看，海南增幅最高，达17.9%。

长时间工作女性易肥胖
An Australian study has found that middle-aged women who work longer are more likely to gain weight, The Daily Telegraph of London reported. The study, which examined more than 9,000 women aged 45 to 50, found those who worked long hours have less time to engage in physical activity and to prepare healthy meals. They are also far more likely to smoke, drink at unhealthy levels and sleep less, the study says.
据英国《每日电讯报》报道，澳大利亚的一份研究发现，中年女性工作时间越长越易肥胖。这份研究对9000多名45-50岁的女性进行了调查，结果发现，长时间工作的女性没有足够的时间用来运动以及合理安排膳食。另外研究还发现长时间工作的女性，更可能出现吸烟、酗酒、睡眠不足等不良生活习惯。

The Bank of Korea has unexpectedly cut its key interest rate by 25 basis points to 3.00% Thursday, marking the central bank’s first cut since February 2009, Reuters reported.
据路透社报道，韩国中央银行——韩国银行12日意外宣布将基准利率下调25个基点至3.00%。这是该行自2009年2月以来首次降息。

Ronaldinho will lose ￡1,000,000 in unpaid earnings after he was spotted with the rival firm’s drink as he spoke to journalists at his new club, Atletico Mineiro. The star’s ￡500,000-a-year contract with the drinks giant had been scheduled to run until 2014.

French cows are enjoying up to 2 bottles of high quality wine every day as farmers try to make the best beef in Europe, the Daily Mail of London reported. The meat produced, labeled as “Vinbovin”, has been hailed by some of the top restaurants in Paris. However, the new bovine (与牛相关的) diet has tripled the cost of the cows’ feed, adding up to ￡80 to the cost of a prime beef cut.
