作为我国信息化建设的主力军，中国电信大力开发和推广信息化应用，以全新的多业务、多网络、多终端融合及价值链延伸，努力使信息化成果惠及社会各行业和广大人民群众。先后为20多个行业和广大企业提供针对性的信息化解决方案，在江苏无锡成立物联网应用和推广中心、物联网技术重点实验室；认真履行电信普遍服务义务，积极服务“三农”，持续推进“村村通电话”工程和“千乡万村”信息化示范工程；主动为广大百姓提供“衣食住行用”等各方面的综合信息服务，为推动信息化与工业化融合，加快农村信息化建设，方便百姓享受信息新生活做出了应有贡献。

As the leading driver of informationalization, China Telecom is committed to improving and applying IT. We work harder to make all sectors of society and regular people benefit from our excellences, providing them with multi—service, networking sites, multi terminal fusion and value chain extension. We have helped over 20 sectors and enterprises with well—targeted solutions. Take the southeast city of Wuxi ,in Jiang Su province as an example, we have established an Internet of Things center for application and promotion of IT, and a key lab for the aim of the center. China Telecom believes in fulfilling its obligations and serving agriculture, rural areas and farmers. We have been expanding our presences through “village phone works” and “ information projects in thousands of villages”. The organization has taken initiatives to provide information about basic necessities of life for people. What we have done enables us contribute to matching IT and industrialization, stepping up informationalization level of rural areas and facilitating people’s livelihood.

In a new journey, China Telecom will seize exciting opportunities for development of 3G, mobile internet and internet of things. We will follow through on sustainability (scientific outlook on development), implement strategies of categorizing clients’ information and treating them accordingly. The organization will keep transforming, adjust its structure more and manage itself well. In this way, China Telecom can scale new heights of effective and efficient growth and make breakthroughs in informationalization. This is how we can make more contribution to China’s economic growth and informationalization development.

As a main workforce of the informationization construction of our country, China Telecom develop and promote the informationization application. It strives to make the informationization benefit to each industry and people through our new diverse business, multi-networks and multi-termination combination and value chain extension. It provides specified informationization solution for 20 industries and lots of corporations. China Telecom sets up a center for the application and promotion of the Internet of Things and a lab of Internet of Things technology. Performing its obligations carefully and serving actively the Village, Agriculture and Farmers, we stay committed to promote the project of villages connected with telephones and model project of thousands of villages. We positively provide comprehensive information of daily life for the people and make great contributions to promote the combination of informationization and industrialization. And we accelerate the informationization of villages and make it easier for people to access to information.

In the new journey, China Telecom will grasp the opportunities of development of 3 G , Mobile Internet, the Internet of Things and will carry out the Scientific Outlook on Development and the strategy of customer- oriented innovation and Differentiation strategy.
