Niue, China to deepen bilateral cooperation
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Niue's Premier and Foreign Minister Dalton Tagelagi have met via video.
Both sides pledge to deepen bilateral cooperation including on the Belt and Road Initiative.
Wang will chair the second China-Pacific Island Countries Foreign Ministers' Meeting scheduled for Monday.
Rocket for China's Wentian lab module arrives at launch site
China's Long March-5B Y3 rocket, which will launch lab module Wentian for the country's space station, has arrived at the launch site in Hainan.
The rocket, along with the Wentian lab module already transported to the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site, will be assembled and tested there.
The China Manned Space Agency says all the systems involved in the mission at the launch site are undergoing orderly preparations.
Chinese mainland reports 20 new local COVID-19 cases
The Chinese mainland on Sunday reported 20 locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases.
The new local cases included eight in Beijing and six each in Tianjin and Shanghai.
Sunday saw no new deaths from COVID-19.
Sudan lifts state of emergency countrywide
Sudan's Transitional Sovereign Council Chairman Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan has issued a decree, lifting the state of emergency in all parts of the country.
The council says the order will contribute to the atmosphere for a dialogue that achieves stability for the transitional period.
Sudan has been suffering a political crisis after Al-Burhan, who is also the country's army chief, declared a state of emergency on October 25, 2021 and dissolved the sovereign council and the government.
Russia promises stable gas supply to Serbia
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that his country will continue to supply natural gas to Serbia uninterruptedly.
Putin made the remarks during a phone call with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations in detail, including steps to expand mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.

People in Afghanistan have voiced concern over the impact of global food insecurity.
The prices of wheat flour and cooking oil have been on the rise in the Asian country.
One killed, seven injured in Oklahoma shooting
Authorities say one person has been killed and seven others have been injured in a shooting in the U.S. state of Oklahoma.
The incident took place on Sunday at an annual Memorial Day event at the Old City Square in Taft.
More than 17,000 people have died in gun-related violence across the United States over the past five months.
Hannover Messe opens offline in Germany
One of Germany's most important industrial trade fairs has opened.
After an interval of two years, Hannover Messe resumes its offline events this year with "Industrial Transformation" as the main theme.
From Monday to Thursday, about 2,500 companies from around 60 countries will be showcasing their innovations for factories and energy systems of the future.
Key topics of this year's exhibition include digital ecosystems and energy solutions, while hydrogen fuel cells are also among the highlights.
