中国汽车销量增长超预期

China car sales growth overtakes expectations

        China’s car market, the largest in the world, continued its strong recovery as light vehicle sales rose 13 per cent by volume year on year in April, despite weakening growth in the domestic economy .

        尽管国内经济增长减弱，但全球最大汽车市场中国4月份延续了强劲的复苏势头，轻型汽车销量同比上升13%。

        Several foreign makes boosted sales by introducing models to coincide with the annual mainland auto show in Shanghai.

        数家外国厂商在一年一度的上海车展期间推出新车型，从而提高了销量。

        Figures from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers showed that wholesale deliveries of cars, multipurpose and sport utility vehicles rose 16.2 per cent year on year in the first four months to 5.86m units. Total vehicle sales, including trucks and buses, rose 13 per cent in the same period to 7.27m.

        中国汽车工业协会(China Association of Automobile Manufacturers)的数据显示，今年头四个月轿车、多用途车和运动型多功能车(SUV)的批发交付量同比增长16.2%，达到586万辆。同期包括卡车和公共汽车在内的汽车总销量增长13%，达到727万辆。

        Analysts had been predicting 5 per cent annual growth in 2013 after last year’s market slowdown.

        在去年市场放缓后，分析师曾预测2013年全年将出现5%的增长。

        Car company executives and auto analysts expect light vehicle sales growth of about 10 per cent for the full year. Luxury car sales have been hit by a government austerity programme that restricts official purchases of high-end cars and prohibits use of military licence plates on them.

        General Motors said this week it had received government approval to build Cadillacs at a factory in Shanghai, where investment is expected to reach at least Rmb8bn ($1.3bn).

        通用汽车(General Motors)本周表示，其在上海建厂生产凯迪拉克(Cadillac)的计划已得到中国政府的批准，投资预计至少为人民币80亿元人民币（合13亿美元）。
