　　Nowruz marks the New Year and the arrival of spring across many countries of Western, Central and Southern Asia, the Caucasus, the Balkans and other regions. This celebration carries a message of peace for all peoples.

　　在西亚、中亚、南亚、高加索、巴尔干和其他地区的许多国家，诺鲁孜节标志着新年伊始，春回大地。这个节日为各国人民带来了和平的讯息。

　　Nowruz is an age-old celebration of rebirth. It is a moment when societies pause to strengthen the ties of respect and solidarity that bring together peoples of different cultures, religions and languages. This is a celebration of harmony in diversity and with nature. It is a time for families and friends, and for societies as a whole to join around rituals and traditions that enshrine the values of peace and tolerance.

　　诺鲁孜节在2009年被列入教科文组织《人类非物质文化遗产代表名录》时，这一点就得到了承认。为此，联合国大会在 2010年通过决议，将3月21日定为国际诺鲁孜节。诺鲁孜节是庆祝万物复苏的古老节日。在这一天，所有人暂时停下匆忙的脚步，加固相互尊重和休戚与共的纽带，将属于不同文化、宗教和语言的人们连为一体。在这一天，人们庆祝多样性的和谐共处，赞美人与自然的和谐共存。这是属于亲朋好友的节日，蕴含着和平与宽容价值观的各种仪式和传统将社会凝聚为一个整体。

　　Nowruz is a moment for renewing with the past and for strengthening forms of belonging that are essential for a better future for all.

　　At this time of great change, Nowruz is a reminder of the values and aspirations that bind us all together, in mutual understanding, solidarity and peace.

　　在这个伟大变革的时代，诺鲁孜节提醒大家不要忘记将我们凝聚在一起的价值观和憧憬——促进相互理解、团结与和平。

　　On this day, I am delighted to express my best wishes to all those around the world who are celebrating Nowruz.
